P006 → Land. Milk. Honey.
Typography-based book design documenting the changing landscapes and wildlife of Israel throughout history. This project delves into the biblical concept of 'land, milk, and honey,' exploring its evolution through industrial and biological perspectives.
1. INTRODUCTION – This section includes the index, introduction, and 'Animal Council,' authored by Philip Baldessensberg, based on the creation story of animals.
2. LAND – This chapter employs descriptive language evoking an abstract sense of space, prompting imaginative exploration. I developed a map to aid in navigating this conceptual 'space,' providing both a sense of discovery and potential disorientation.
3. MILK, HONEY – This segment examines the industries of milk and honey with a nuanced perspective. The format echoes elements from the map, featuring a long, linear layout that directly reflects its thematic content.
